The Venetian Macao-Resort Hotel will be hosting the World Series of Mahjong on August 19th through the 22nd. The World Series of Mahjong is the largest mahjong tournament in the world when it comes to prize money and player participation and players are already getting ready to participate in this year’s event.

The 2010 World Series of Mahjong will have three separate tournaments. The events are the 3 day single elimination Main Event World Championship, a $5,000 High Rollers Event and $1,000 Reach Event. The prize money available will depend on how many players participate in each event.
