Marathon Mahjong Session Puts Man in Coma
Mahjong is an ancient Chinese game that is popular on an international level. The game involves skill, strategy and calculation and can be found in progress just about anywhere in China. However the game is so popular that sometimes players may find themselves hurting instead of winning. Players have become sick, paralyzed and experienced many other health problems because of marathon mahjong sessions and a Guiyang man is no exception. The man surnamed Zhang played mahjong non-stop for thirty two hours and because of this he fell into a coma.
Zhang began playing the marathon gaming session Friday night and by Saturday his playing partners were so tired they were replaced by new partners. By Sunday morning Zhang had fell off his chair. After being examined by a doctor, Zhang was found to be in a coma and the doctor blamed the marathon Mahjong session for inducing his coma.
