For one Beijing man, getting excited over a mahjong win gave him more than he bargained for.

A man with the surname of Li was playing mahjong with friends when he won the game. He got so excited that he began laughing really hard. Well, Li’s laughing caused a metal false tooth to come lose and he swallowed it.

Li was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery at Sun Yatsen University hospital after it was found that the tooth had almost punctured his aorta, a major artery. It is amazing how one stroke of good luck can turn to bad luck very quickly!
