Arkadium is an online gaming software creator and they launched a mahjong game for Facebook in January. The game has become so popular over the last few months that the game now has over one million active users.

The game is called Mahjong Dimensions and it has grown tremendously over the past few months. More than 4.5 million games of mahjong have taken place since the game launched and the game is being played on a regular basis. Now the game has over one million monthly active users.

Arkadium was surprised by the success of the game, especially so quickly. Kenny Rosenblatt the chief executive of Arkadium was interviewed by Games Beat and he commented in the interview that he “didn’t expect the success to happen so quick. The plan was to take ht game from our library, get it on Facebook, build the audience and monetize it.”

Since the game has become so popular, Arkadium is now looking at their library of over three hundred games to see if more of their offerings can be added to Facebook. They are hoping to replicate the success of Mahjong Dimensions.
