Mahjong has been an internationally popular game for many decades. The game can be enjoyed by the young and old online or in the comfort of your home with friends. The Fallbrook Family Support League in California holds an annual mahjong tournament to aid people in their area. This year’s event has ended and was a great success.

Sixty eight players competed at seventeen tables during the competition but it was Laurel Freeman who had the high score and the first place win. Linda Gregg took second place. Both winners had first picks at the prize table which was filled with items that had been donated to the event.

Players attending got to have fun playing mahjong as well as winning raffle prizes and enjoying a good lunch. The money raised from the tournament will go to provide counseling services for victims of fire, military families and local children in school. The services will be provided for free or on a pay as you can schedule.
