Playstation to Offer New Mahjong Game for PSN this January

According to a recent blog by Playstation, TikGames is about to unveil a new mahjong game on the Playstation Network. The company has been working on a game called Mahjong Tales: Ancient Wisdom for the PS3 and it will be available on the PSN in early January for just under ten dollars. (22/12)

Wang Yunhan Wins Mahjong SuperCup

The second Mahjong SuperCup took place last weekend at the Grand Waldo casino with a total of three hundred and fifty players competing. The players qualified from a player pool of around 40,000 players. The event took two days to complete and Wang Yuhan of Taiwan took the first place prize. (17/12)

“Chinese King of Mahjong” Crowned this past Week

Hu Zhiwei is a twenty nine year old with a Masters degree of Environmental Studies from Peking University. Zhiwei is from Jiangxi and lived a quiet life. But his life will be quiet no longer as Zhiwei was just named the “Chinese King of Mahjong” last week after winning a major mahjong tournament. (03/12)
