CryptoLogic Invests in Mahjong Time

It was recently announced by CryptoLogic Limited, that they are investing in Mahjong Time. The investment will benefit the developer and supplier of the software to make a move toward the market in Asia. CryptoLogic signed a licensing agreement with Mahjong Time, who is based in San Diego that will give CryptoLogic access to half the Internet Cafes in China. (28/08)

World Series of Mahjong Coming Next Month

The Wynn Macau resort in Macau will be the host of this year’s World Series of Mahjong event. This will be the second consecutive year the event has taken place. The tournament will begin on September 19th and continue until the 21st. Players must pay $5,000 US to enter the tournament and all players will have the chance to win the minimum, guaranteed price purse of $1 million US. (21/08)
